Are you pregnant? Need answers? We can help you. Our services are available regardless of income, race or religion. Because we believe that everyone should have access to this information. We provide free pregnancy test, limited ultrasounds, prenatal vitamins, parent education, options counseling, STD information and testing (beginning in June). We provide some material assistance as well.
Extension Master Gardener Volunteers work with NC State University's Cooperative Extensionto provide answers to the gardening public based on unbiased research.
Relay For Life is a community based fundraising event of the American Cancer Society. Each year, more than 5,000 Relay For Life events take place in over twenty countries.
Twenty-five "golden shoes will be hidden at Waterfront Park, Charles Creek Park, River Road Soccer Complex , and Halstead Bike Path at City Drive in Elizabeth City starting May 25th. Shoes may be redeemed at the Downtown Waterfront Market on Saturday June 10th from 9 - 12 p.m. Other activities at the Healthy Carolinians table will include a kids scavenger hunt.
The League of Women Voters of Northeastern NC will be celebrating the anniversary of women's right to vote by registering voters and passing out information on Saturday, August 26th, 2017.
